On Saturday September 19th at North Shore High School, the Key Club began the year with soap & water washing cars and having some fun. The profits from this annual event will go to the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center (KPTC) The key club always lends support to this organization for all their great work the KPTC does throughout the year. Pediatric trauma kills more children than any other disease and the North Shore key Club hopes to assist the KPTC by cutting down those numbers. The North Shore Key Club is very proud of their accomplishments for 2014-2015. The club was recognized in New York State in March 2015 for numerous community service events and in June at the Key Club International Convention was awarded a first place trophy for their single service project for Autism and third place for the scrapbook. Pictured are club members with very proud President Elias Mastakouris holding the first place trophy.
