The K-Family Rings in the Holiday Season for Salvation ArmyThe North Shore Kiwanis Club and the North Shore Key Club join hands every holiday and together, as bell ringers for the Salvation Army Organization…… ring
in the holiday season at the Salvation Army Kettle. This tradition, for both clubs, goes back at least 30 years, supporting this amazing organization and their kettle Drive. |

The North Shore Kiwanis Family In Action For Operation Christmas ChildIn the usual HO HO HO Sprirt once again the North Shore Kiwanis Family sends gift boxes “ world-wide” to children in need . Samaritan’s Purse is the Organization hosting this annual endeavor called Operation Christmas Child. Pictured are various pictures of the K-Family in action showing the Key Club & Kiwanis organizing more than 75 boxes full of gift items that will turn an ordinary day into something special for a child in need. A special thank you to the N.S. Kiwanis team of Roger Hill & John Kle who delivered these boxes to the drop off site where they begin their world-wide journey!

Community Blood DriveThe Key Club hosted a community blood drive on November 20th at the high school. To promote the event, Key Clubbers went to classrooms throughout the high school to explain how to participate. Additionally, Key Clubbers put posters up around the school. The event was a success, collecting 45 pints of blood!

Key Club helps out at the New York District's Governors DinnerOn Monday Sept 18th a dinner was held for the Kiwanis Governor and our adviser LG Julia hosted the event . The Key Club was on hand to help out with the festivities

The North Shore Key Club Joins Hands With The North Shore Hispanic Chamber of CommerceThe North Shore Key Club is excited to begin the new school year assisting the N.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New York. This has been an annual event held in August at the North Shore High School, to distribute backpacks galore to needy children. Many thanks to Connie Pinilla, North Shore Kiwanis member and also the President of the N S Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for always including the N.S. key club with this activity. the backpacks as well as preparing for the distribution to children in the community. |
